Experience Level3/5
RemarksMy daughter and I were taking a full moon walk when we were gifted this experience. We thankfully live in a rural area with little artificial light and were facing West when we saw it, making it incredibly vivid as the moon was to our backs. It was our first time to witness a fireball and it was a truly amazing experience! We were both left speechless and in a bit of shock as to what we had just seen. We frequently enjoy the night sky, but this experience will go down as the most awe inspiring nighttime observation.
